Prof. Khasru is an international expert on cyber security, counter terrorism, & transnational crimes – serving as the Senior Advisor of AISA for Strategy, Policy and Global Affairs. He has regularly spoken in annual conferences held by AISA from 2018 onward.

Prof. Khasru has written for the Australian Cyber Risk Leaders Magazine, advocating for Australia’s having a strong, robust, and pragmatic international cyber engagement strategy. He is the editor of two international publications on (i) The Digital Age, Cyber Space, and Social Media: The Challenges of Security & Radicalization and (ii) Harnessing the Fourth Industrial Revolution: Challenges and Opportunities.

In addition to cyber, Prof. Munir has provided international training and capacity building to senior law enforcement and intelligence officials on areas like (i) building regional strategic alliances on countering transnational crimes (ii) sharing intelligence, technology and resources (iii) adopting technological breakthrough and innovation.
