For the project ‘Consultancy/Research Firm for Review of Bilateral and Regional Trade Agreements,’ IPAG reviewed various bilateral and regional trade agreements with important trading partners to understand the current status of the bilateral trade scenario. It also explored different country perspectives and good practices to identify ways of creating an enabling environment, particularly focusing on harmonizing export, import, and customs-related policies with different trade partners. After conducting the analysis, IPAG suggested overall reforms that could be applied to the bilateral and regional trade agreements to expand trade between Bangladesh and other countries.
