The G20 summit held in Hangzhou, China on 4–5 September 2016 and the theme is ‘Towards an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World Economy’. The leading think tanks from G20 and around the world convened in Beijing on July 29-30 to provide policy recommendations for this year’s G20 Summit. The think tank summit is known as T20 (Think Tank 20) which was organized by three leading Chinese think tanks (i) Institute of World Economics and Politics (IWEP), at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) (ii) Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) and (iii) Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY).
