The COENCOSA project focused on the issue that economic non-cooperation among South Asian countries has resulted in high costs to consumers. The project sought to measure the cost to consumers. The project involved advocacy aimed at Government policies and policy-making process to better incorporate consumer interest in the policies. It also involved awareness-building among stakeholders about consumer issues and cost of economic barriers to consumers.
