Workshop by Council for Global Problem-Solving

Prof. Syed Munir Khasru, Co-Chair, G20 Task Forces on (i) Digital Transformation & (ii) SDG spoke for 15 minutes on Feb 21, (Monday) 2022 from on “How digital transformation will shape the global development agenda in the post pandemic period”. It is organized by the Council for Global Problem-Solving (CGP), Global Solutions Initiative Foundation, Berlin, Germany.

Global Solution from IPAG

The UN SDSN has globally selected top 5 projects for their positive effect on achieving SDG during the COVID 19 pandemic. COVID Digital KICK by IPAG is one of the 5 projects on which Prof. Khasru was invited to speak at the Dubai Expo 2020, UAE on January 18, 2022.

He spoke in the following sessions along with the opening and closing sessions:

(i) Systems change made real: innovative climate solutions to address global sustainable development

(ii) Looking at climate change from different angles – Surprising impacts and responses

(iii) Bridging the digital divide for more equitable and inclusive childhood education

(iv) Vaccine and diagnostic technologies in response to health crises

2021 Global Trade and Innovation Policy Alliance Annual Summit

Syed Munir Khasru, Chairman, IPAG, spoke at the 2021 Global Trade and Innovation Policy Alliance Annual Summit on “Resetting the Global Trade and Economic Agenda for the Post-Pandemic Era” held from December 01 – 03, 2021 at Washington D.C., USA. He spoke at a Panel Discussion on “COVID-19 and Digital Transformation”.

GTIPA Virtual Summit 2020

Syed Munir Khasru spoke at the 2020 Global Trade and Innovation Policy Alliance (GTIPA) Virtual Summit, Washington DC, on October 29, 2020, at the session on “COVID-19: Lessons for Policymakers on Managing Health and Economic Impacts”. He shared his insights on the geopolitical, strategic, and socio-economic impact of COVID-19.

Will COVID-19 Reverse Regional Connectivity? Perspectives from South Asia

Syed Munir Khasru, Chairman, IPAG spoke on the topic, “Will COVID-19 Reverse Regional Connectivity? Perspectives from South Asia” on May 13, 2020. The webinar was organised by Brookings India.He shared his perspectives on India and the South Asia on important areas like regional cooperation and connectivity, particularly in light of the crisis emanating from COVID-19. He also shared insights on how the most populous and fastest growing region of the world could have benefitted by cooperating amongst themselves on important areas like sharing information and best practices related to healthcare services in the region.
